All the settings in iDiscrete are easily controlled from the Settings menu. To access, simply tap the "Settings" icon in the top left corner of the Home Screen.

To enable the unique Touch Sequence Protection™ feature of iDiscrete, tap "Protection Settings" from the main Settings page. Turn "Enable Protection" to ON, and please read VERY CAREFULLY through the tutorial popup messages that display next. Doing so will insure that you fully understand the "trick" behind the Protection Settings of iDiscrete. At any time you can view the entire tutorial again by choosing "Play Protection Tutorial" on the "Protection Settings" page.

To enable Touch Sequence Protection™, the first thing you must do is set your Touch Sequence. Do so by tapping the "Touch Sequence" line and selecting your touch zones from the screen that comes up. You can make your Touch Sequence as simple or as complicated as you wish. Don't forget it! Remember: the red dotted lines WILL NOT show up when you actually launch the app and input your Touch Sequence. They are only there when you are choosing your touch zones. The ACTUAL screen where you input your Touch Sequence will simply be white with a black "Loading" box in the middle.

Once a Touch Sequence is set, two more items require your attention before you are done. First, you need to set your Timeout. This is the number of seconds you have at the "Loading" screen to input your Touch Sequence, before the app boots to the dummy "My Notes" screen. By default this value is set to 5 seconds, but if you have a complicated Touch Sequence, you may need to increase it. Make sure and give yourself plenty of time! Second, you need to set your Reset Code. THIS PART IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, SO PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY!! If you ever forget your Touch Sequence, your Reset Code will be required to reset the Protection Settings. If you forget BOTH your Touch Sequence AND your Reset Code, the only option is to entirely uninstall the app, and in that case ALL YOUR CONTENT WILL BE DELETED!! So, be sure to choose a Reset Code that you WILL NOT FORGET!!

To reset the Protection Settings of iDiscrete (while keeping all of your content intact) simply enter your Reset Code into the "My Notes" area that follows the "Loading" screen. Once you enter the last letter/number of your code, a popup message will display confirming that you DO want to reset your Protection Settings. Once you confirm this, and once you close and reopen the app, all settings will be reset to their default values.
