Starting from version 2.3, BackupIt! will automatically create a backup every night. To avoid a long list of automatic backups, the number of backups is limited to 3. This means, automatic backups older than 3 days are automatic erased.
In the restore list, auto backups are identified by a "A" at the end of the backup name, while a "M" identifies the manual backups done by you.
Auto backups are deliberately not synchronized to Dropbox, because if you sync new auto backups with old auto backups already present on your Dropbox account, BackupIt! should erase the old files but this is in contrast with the rule that BackupIt! never erases files from your Dropbox account!
Enables Dropbox support and shows necessary buttons to synchronize to your Dropbox account.
Starting from version 2.1, this app supports Dropbox synchronization using the device name to group all the backups related to a single device. This means, you can have multiple devices using BackupIt! and syncing to the same Dropbox account and every device will see only its backups.
This is the Dropbox folder used by the device to synchronize its backups. It depends on the parameter "Use device name".
