iLostMyi will help you recover your lost or stolen iPhone without the need of an internet connection or extra fees.
You can have full control of your device just by sending a text message even if the SIM has changed.
iLostMyi will immidiately send a text message to predifined phone numbers containing the number, ICCID and IMSI of the new inserted SIM.
All you have to do is send a text message to the phone, beginning with a keyword you specify in settings followed by special commands described below. All messages starting with the specified keyword will be filtered and will be processed silently according to the commands contained in the message.
All location commands will automatically enable location services if they are disabled so you don't have to worry about that.
Settings
Available commands
| +id |
Sends back the ICCID and IMSI of the
inserted SIM. |
| +loc |
Sends back the coordinates of the current location.
|
| +iloc |
Sends back the current location in a URL format
to view it in a browser or in Maps app. |
| +acc (meters) |
Specifies a desired accuracy when used in combination with +loc or +iloc. Available values are 10 and 100 e.g. +acc (10) If accuracy is not specified, +iloc and +loc will return the first coordinates they get from GPS.
|
| +sc (command) |
Executes the system command specified e.g. +sc (killall SpringBoard) Some commands are not permitted. This function is mostly experimental.
|
| +sm (message) |
Pops a system alert on the iPhone containing the message you specified without revealing the original SMS. e.g. +sm (Hey thief! Got ya!) |
Examples:
keyword +id +iloc +acc (10) +sm (test)
Will send back the ICCID and IMSI of the inserted SIM, the location in URL format of at least 10m accuracy and finally will pop a test alert message on the phone.
keyword +loc
Will return latitude, longitude and accuracy. The first it gets from Location services since no accuracy is specified.
keyword +sc (rm /User/Library/SMS/sms.db)
This command will delete your sms database. I wouldn't recommend to use this one if you don't know what you 're doing.
Known Bugs:
Sometimes when you are inside the SMS conversation (e.g. when you send a message to yourself for testing purposes), the received message might not get automatically deleted. You might also see -1 (minus 1) in the messages badge. In that case, simply delete the whole conversation.
Temporary solution: Just leave the conversation as soon as you send the message to yourself.
