WiFi-Where Settings
Beep on Discovery
When this option is enabled, a friendly beep is played when a new network is discovered.
Vibrate on Discovery (When Device Supports it)
When this option is enabled, the device will vibrate when a new network is discovered.
Save on Discovery
When this option is enabled, all new networks are automatically marked as saved.
Keep Device Awake
When this option is enabled, WiFi-Where will temporarily disable the device idle timer while scanning. NOTE: Using this option when your device is not connected to a power source will cause your battery to drain quickly if you scan for a long amount of time.
Sort by RSSI
When this option is enabled, hotspots are sorted by signal strength (strongest first). By default, hotspots are sorted by most recently discovered first.
Ignore Open Networks
When this option is enabled, networks that have no security enabled are not shown while scanning.
Ignore WEP Networks
When this option is enabled, networks that have WEP security enabled are not shown while scanning.
Ignore WPA Personal Networks
When this option is enabled, networks that have WPA Personal security enabled are not shown while scanning.
Ignore WPA2 Personal Networks
When this option is enabled, networks that have WPA2 Personal security enabled are not shown while scanning.
Ignore WPA Enterprise Networks

Ignore Hidden Networks
When this option is enabled, networks that do not broadcast an SSID are not shown while scanning.
Ignore Ad Hoc Networks
When this option is enabled, computer-to-computer Ad Hoc networks are not shown while scanning.
Ignore Out of Range Networks
When this option is enabled, networks that are not in range are not shown in the scanning results. Enable this option to improve performance when in a dense hotspot population.
Signal Strength Filter
By choosing a signal strength threshold, WiFi-Where will ignore any hotspot that has a lower signal strength than this value.
Location Accuracy Filter
This option sets a filter on the location accuracy obtained from the iPhone/iPod Touch device. If the location is not good enough, all hotspots will be ignored.
